Grabs in skateboarding are different ways to hold the skateboard during an aerial trick. Grabs usually combine aerials with rotation as the skateboarder grabs and holds the board.

Basic Grab Tricks Edit

  • Airwalk (the rider grabs the front of the board and takes their feet off)
  • Nose Grab (the rider grabs the front of the board in the air)
  • Tail Grab (The rider grabs the back of the board in the air)

Advance Grab Tricks Edit

  • Backside grab (melon,Method, Mosquito. any where when the rider grabs between the heel)
  • Frontside grab (tuck-knee,Stinkbug air,indy air anywhere ehen you grab between the toe)

Pro/Hard Grab Tricks Edit

  • Benihana grab (A grab where your legs are split with one leg stretched out across the board while the hand opposite the leg holds the hey tail of the board.)
  • Japan Air (With the front hand grabbing toeside between the heels, the legs are then bent and folded to the back of the board)
  • Cannonball (The skateboarder ollies, then grabs both ends of the board (nose and tail) and holds them. This makes the skater crouch and appear small and round in shape)
